Patient 7

Did you know that the tongue is the strongest muscle in the human body?
Normally, at rest, it is located on the palate behind the upper incisors, without touching them. When swallowing, the tongue, without changing its position, presses on the palate. This promotes proper growth of the jaws and face.
If the tongue does not work properly and the muscles of the lips and cheeks are weak, the clenching of the teeth will be disrupted.
The patient, 11 years old, complained about the aesthetics of a smile.
The treatment was performed with a partial brace system and myofunctional exercises for the tongue and lips.
